The Salem County Communicable Disease department offers a wide range of quality services to the local community. We provide disease surveillance and institute control measures for all communicable diseases. We investigate outbreaks or "suspected outbreaks," report disease follow-up of all reportable diseases, operate and maintain an STD (Sexually transmitted Disease) clinic, provide confidential HIV counseling and testing, and provide many immunization services.
